Designed to commemorate the hard-working train crews that built our railroads over the years. This car was designed by NLOE with Lionel. This is a unique set that will complement both steam and diesel consist. The perfect addition to your work train or as a trackside scene, our cars feature LED illumination.

Designed to commemorate the hard-working train crews that built and operated our railroad over the years. This car was designed by NLOE with Lionel. This is a unique club car that will complement your historic Long Island steam engine consists. The perfect addition to your 4-6-0 Long Island Camelback, 0-6-0 B6sb, 4-4-2 Atlantic, 4-4-0 American, 2-8-0 H3 Consolidation, switcher, or other locomotive.

NLOE’s Long Island Centerbeam Lumber Flatcar by Lionel
The Nassau Lionel Operating Engineers presents our scale 2023 Long Island Centerbeam Lumber Flatcar. This is a unique club car that will complement your postwar Long Island engine consists. This Standard O gauge car was designed by NLOE with Lionel. America’s construction and lumber industries rely heavily on the country’s freight railroads to move lumber and wood products, including milled lumber and other construction panels such as wood particle, which is used to make furniture.
Centerbeams are preferred for lumber transport because they can be loaded and unloaded simultaneously from both sides, allowing them back into service quicker. The standard centerbeam flatcar can carry about 200,000 pounds or more and is also used to carry other construction materials, such as wallboard. One centerbeam railcar carries enough framing lumber to build about six homes.
